After knocking off #247 LU on the road last weekend I just don't see how Wichita has a chance in hell in leaving JQH with a victory later this week. Paul Lusk is a machine and he's a hell of a dabber. Discuss.

Ha ha. You beat me to it. I was going to start a thread naming the Wed bears Shox game as " the next big game". As a joke of course.

No real hope of winning this next one. I just hope we are competitive and show some fire.

I don't have any faith in our coaching staff. But I do like our young players. Kendrix, Church, Kreklow and Dixon are fine young players. Especially Church. I wouldn't trade him for any other MVC post player. Our juco PG (Miller) has also been playing well of late. He's not shooting well on the year but he is totally fearless and has hit 3 game winners this year.

This is probably the last time I'll see Baker and FVV live. :bow:

The Bears certainly are not getting the respect they deserve. I still see them as having a very legitimate shot at an NCAA berth.

The Bears will probably be running mostly zone tomorrow against the Shox so the big key here will be for them to try and shut down L Ron Hubbard Baker and his sweet outside shot.

In November, zone was a very good idea against the Shox.

Unless another injury occurs, zone will never be a good idea against the Shox again this year.

Shox are shooting over 40% from 3 in the last 7 games. Not coincidentally, FVV got healthy and Conner Frankamp became eligible 8 games ago.

Using a gameplan of shutting down Baker from 3 will result in a very lopsided win for WSU. Focusing on Baker behind the arc leaves Van Vleet, Frankamp, McDuffie, and Zach Brown all as viable 3 point threats.
