Standings after Six games

The season is now 1/3 over, and we can probably pencil in at least 3 of the 4 Thursday teams. Seems like everything else is still pretty fluid.

Evansville 5-1
Southern Ill. 5-1
Indiana St. 4-2
Illinois St. 3-3
Missouri St. 3-3
Northern Iowa 2-4
Bradley 1-5
Loyola 1-5
Drake 0-6

Today's questions:
- Where will UNI finish?
- Are the Salukis really for real?
- Will Evansville run out of gas?
- Will Giacoletti pull a Kanaskie?

WSU has granted second place UE and SIU their only losses. Fourth place ISUb has two losses; UE and WSU. Shaping up fairly well.

I just cannot fathom UNI playing on Thursday.

Of course, I could not fathom LOY defeating UNI either.

Playing on Thursday sucks enough as it is, but if Bradley has to play UNI in the 7-10 game, I might just not even watch.

- Will Evansville run out of gas? They'll have a head scratching loss or two, but they'll finish 2nd
- Will Giacoletti pull a Kanaskie? I am to the point where I don't think you can win there. He'll win 3ish games, but Drake outside of one fluke season hasn't been relevant in 40 years.

Pencil in? I think you can use permanent marker for the Bravos on Thursday this year.
