FVV is the most valuable to his team. We saw what happened to Wichita when he wasn't in the lineup this year. They quickly become an average team.
Mock was the Most Outstanding Player (which I've seen used before) this year, leading the country in rebounding and taking over games. He's probably had the best statistical season of anyone in the Valley.
Since the award is named "player of the year", you have to ask yourself are you voting for most valuable, or most outstanding?
Either way, I don't see how the MVC's golden boy doesn't get the nod. It's often why MVP's are given to the best player on the best team in the conference, even when there's someone who might be more deserving.
