What a fun beat down of the Redbirds. Total domination in all facets of the game.

Congrats to the Shocks. The refs played a huge part in the score of the game, but not the final outcome.

For all the Shocker fans stating total domination, etc.... There are reasons for that which had nothing to do with the 10 athletes on the court. Too bad too, I think they robbed the viewers from what would have been a tremendous basketball game.

Regardless, congrats to the seniors from Wichita for a tremendous Vally career. Well earned ovations at the end of the game.

Hahahahaha, was waiting to see how long it would take for the refs complaint.

Great game. A couple bad calls but overall, ISU just fouled a lot. Could have gotten called for a lot more. Definitely wasn't the refs fault. This was a 20+ point win before WSU started worrying about the seniors and gave up easy points.

Over 60% of the posts in here are Redbird fans bitching about the officiating. My god what else is new? Maybe stop fouling and you wouldn't get rung up so hard. It's funny how this stuff works. Illinois State shoots 26 free throws at home against WSU to WSU's 15. Did you see Shocker fans flood in here with officiating excuses? The fanbase sure takes after its coach and that's not a good thing.
That was a total rout from the 10 minute mark in the first half on. A complete thumping. I want to thank Illinois State for providing so many posters today. Nice to see WSU assert itself in the return game and then some.

Clearly didn't actually watch the game. Officials were making complete phantom calls from the tip. It snowballed and ISU couldn't even box somebody out without being called for something. This led to a slough of offensive boards and second chance points for the shockers. Which was compounded by bad unforced turnovers. ISU loses this game either way. We all knew it going in. Senior day in the roundhouse? No chance. Just sad to see that the refs had to play such a factor. Should be a fun rematch in STL if it happens.

Officiating complaints are such a loser excuse to losing a game, especially when it was a 27-point blowout before WSU called off the dogs. Stop fouling maybe. It's not hard. The crying on here is just embarrassing. So much for Illinois State fans being above everyone. wow

Like I said before...not a "loser excuse" but something that was clearly a factor.

Then I guess it would be prudent of me to return the favor and say officiating was a difference in the game in Normal where it was only a 5 point game.
And holy crap. Your "game" thread on your message board is almost beyond words. You guys should all feel proud of that 30-pager.
