Congrats to the Shocks. The refs played a huge part in the score of the game, but not the final outcome.

For all the Shocker fans stating total domination, etc.... There are reasons for that which had nothing to do with the 10 athletes on the court. Too bad too, I think they robbed the viewers from what would have been a tremendous basketball game.

Regardless, congrats to the seniors from Wichita for a tremendous Vally career. Well earned ovations at the end of the game.

Hahahahaha, was waiting to see how long it would take for the refs complaint.

No kidding. The "phantom fouls" evened out because WSU let the birds off the hook by shooting 60% from the line. When you win the TO margin 17-6, the rebounding 40-33 (16-8 on the offensive boards), and have the two best players in the conference the opposition was never going to win this game. It should have been about a 25-30 point blow out if we would have made some freebies.

Now the challenge will be to stay on the past 4-game roll in STL. STA hasn't exactly been kind to us over the years. Plus, E-Ville and ISU-R will be on high alert because they want to dance as well. WSU must cover its bases, because #2 and #3 seeds have the roster to win this thing and go to the prom.

ISU loses this game either way. We all knew it going in.

Like I said before...not a "loser excuse" but something that was clearly a factor.

You are way off base. The Birds were fouling on ball and off ball, on camera and off camera.

The Birds are dumb and they play dumb.

They are athletic, but empty between the ears.

It all started before the game with #2. When the Birds came out of the tunnel, before the start of the game, #2 ran the full length of the court. He was waving his arms, jumping up and down and spinning around and giving his "we are gonna kill you look." "Look at me. Look at me." Then he took a ball, dribbled hard to the basket, went up for a show boat slam dunk....and missed it. Pathetic.

NOBODY is saying it's all the officials fault. I don't know how many times I have to say that. But it was a factor.

The factor was about the Birds' pushing, shoving, slapping, hacking, tripping and punching.

It did not take a genius to figger out that we gotta stop this dumb fouling.

You know what your coach was doing in the first 10 minutes of the game, while your morons were hacking away? He nonchalantly walked up on down in front of the bench with his hands in his pockets. It looked as if he was taking a Sunday stroll, after church on Sunday.

Just give it up. They can do no wrong. Keep in mind they gave Jans a job after he showed his true colors and got fired. They turned a blind eye to Frankamps DUI. Yet they are the first to call ISU thugs. I guess being a drunk and sexually assaulting women or risking the lives of innocent people is perfectly acceptable.
