Not even heart broken. Just another "eh, used to it" result.

You knew it was too good to be true when we went back up 13 with only 8 minutes to go.

Brutal loss.

Vegas had it at DePaul -1.5. I would have put a load down on MSU. DePaul is another one of those bottom feeders that the top of the Valley should beat. Vegas just knows. They know.

Today is a good example of how fickle at-large resumes can be.

Louisville survives ODU in OT, this creates Louisville/Wichita St.

Had ODU won the game, it would've been an utter disaster for Wichita. Not many chances for signature wins for them, so losing a shot at Louisville would've been devastating. When March arrives, the selection committee won't care that Wichita signed up for Atlantis for a megaboost to the SoS, they would just see N-LSU and N-ODU and not give Wichita any credit. That's how that room works - you don't get credit for intent, you only get credit for what happens in front of you. Old Dominion nearly destroyed several years' worth of planning to boost the SoS.

Now Wichita gets Louisville and then Baylor/Michigan St. So much better than ODU and Baylor/Michigan St.

(no offense to ODU, who will end up being an upper division team in CUSA, but yeah)

I don't know much about Louisville this year. Are Shox fans expecting a win?

Glad it's nationally televised today. We'll have it on at my house during our thanksgiving feast. Good luck.

We are cautiously optimistic. Louisville is ranked 10, but they finished an ugly OT win against ODU at midnight last night. Only 13 hours between games for the cards. Vegas favors the Shox by 2.

The Cards are long and athletic so we will see!

I think there is a good chance that the Shox win today. #10 Louisville is definitely not as good as the national championship team that they had in 2013. Their interior defense is their best weapon. That could give us fits if we aren't clicking from 3 point range. Pimp Pitino is already crying about their 14 hrs turnaround vs our 24 hrs. He knows he is in a dog fight.

WSU goes a solid 10 deep without any let up. Obviously, this is the best team we will have played so far. I'm sure WSU is the best team they have face so far too.

On another note - why did Lusk call a timeout after the break away slam - when the Bears had their foot on DePaul's throat ? I thought MSU was turning the corner.

Sycamores look very good early. I like them to win this game if they keep playing with that kind of energy

The fact that Vegas has the shockers as favorites means it's at least reasonable to consider a shockers win
