What it tells me is that if our team had played up to its potential game in and game out, we could have been undefeated in Valley play.

as said by every team's fans all over america.

When we are clicking on all cylinders, we simply overpower the kind of teams that are in the Valley.

Now you know why we're a likely one-bid league again.

Each of those 6 schools could probably do more to improve that number, but lets not forget we finished with 6 schools (including WSU) over 200 last year. A couple of these schools should improve their number with Bracketbusters coming up.

I don't know where you are getting your numbers from, but WSU was about 50 last year and Evansville was the only team over 200. Indiana State and Missouri State were the only two over 200 two years ago.

True, but some teams actually have higher ceilings than others. WSU is just dripping with talent. When that talent is utilized, our walkons come in with 5 mins remaining in the game. A team like NIU, while enjoying less talent than WSU, does a better job of squeezing the blood out of the proverbial turnip. That is a testament to Coach BJ's ability to prepare his kids for competition. Coach Marshall employs a strategy that involves out-recruiting his competition. I don't know how smart GG is, but he is a great salesman, and salesman win out on the recruiting trail.

Baller,
I'm not sure how that paticular site determined noncon SOS, but in looking at the comparative noncon schedules between MSU and WSU, I found the only real difference was the game WSU was assigned by the league[San Diego State] vs the fact the Bears were not in the challenge this year. Minus that one game the average RPI for WSU's noncon opponents was 186.2, the Bears 165. Even with that game added in the average for WSU is 168, so again I'm not sure what factors they were using on that noncon sos tabulation. I'm not disbuting it, just saying it certainly isn't basing it off of relative RPI rankings. I also noted that WSU played their top three other RPI opponents on neutral courts[ UCON,LSU/Virginia] and played Tulsa in Wichita, while the Bears played true road games at Oklahoma State, Tennessee, and Tulsa. I can't dispute the number reported above, and maybe it will be the one that determines any tie breakers, but I don't see that WSU went out and scheduled much tougher than the Bears based on the opponenets RPI's and the fact the SDSU game was assigned. Just another viewpoint.
Here are the comparative numbers:

WSU: 330,307,213,207,193,176,149,91,10, 4

MSU: 336,228,216,216,210,169,154,130,91,46,21

I hope that no one has argued that WSU has scheduled with a tough SOS in mind.

Most of us know our schedule is lacking. Just not as much as a few others... We all need to schedule better.

Would like to know what website that is from...

MO State : http://www.bbstate.com/school.php?s=MOST&a=sheet

WSU: http://www.bbstate.com/school.php?s=WICH&a=sheet

Not sure who would own the tiebreaker now...
