I think that MSU, Drake, and InSt all still have hopes for an at large. Other than InSt loss to Tulsa - non of them have any bad losses - and other than InSt win over Notre Dame they don't have any good wins. There is still hope but they have to win some games.
Agreed. If Drake could somehow beat Iowa today and win the rest of their OOC games, they'd be in the mix for an at large with a good record in conference. That would leave them with a good win (Iowa) and no bad OOC losses. Not predicting this will happen, but it's not impossible.
Absolutely! An Iowa beat down today puts Drake right in the mix. The only issue is that Drake, MSU, and Indiana State have limited remaining opportunities to get those crucial wins against ranked teams and/or teams with a likely top 50 RPI at season's end. Now would be a good time to start winning these types of games!
