I agree. We are pieces of work. I will add that WSU is the better team over the course of an entire MVC double round robin season. All be it only one game.

I think I see things quite a bit differently than most of the Board. I see NI as a very well coached team with a scheme that maximizes its players' talents offensively and plays solid defense. It has several excellent open perimeter shooters. The key is Tuttle who is very difficult to defend by anyone his own size and, unlike many players inside, if you help on him he gets the ball to the open three point or cutting shooter. I also see NI as a little limited athletically, cain't create their own three point shot, and cain't ratchet it up to a new level defensively. I think they would do well against a team like KU but not Utah or other teams with a relatively athletic 7 footer who can shut Tuttle down. I see WSU as more of a work in process but with a significantly higher upside. That should not be a surprise as most of their inside bigs are young and inconsistent.

So...

UNI is unathletic....gee, never heard that before....and more false now than ever
UNI can't create their own shot...gee, never heard that before...and more false now than ever.
UNI can't ratchet defense up......Now, I've heard it all

Maybe we should just ask Dan Muller. He seems to have a good eye for who is the best team in the league.

Whoever wins the re-re-rematch in the national title game wins...

Unless that ties the series. In which case I'm pretty sure we just have to go back to my Dan Muller idea.

I suppose I am making an assumption about a re-rematch occurring. I guess we'll just have to let this d*** measuring contest play itself out.

In a few weeks, nobody will care about the current UNI/WSU discussion except some Redbird fan with nothing else to talk about.

Maybe AceCard will have something to say.

That's about it.

Hopefully we end up getting that game, but ultimately I don't care if we find out who is better or not.

Hopefully both teams make deep NCAA tournament runs. That's where both teams will really shine.

Whether UNI or WSU is better is irrelevant except for the fact that we have nothing else to talk about right now. I'm fine with having two top 15 programs that are nearly identical. As long as that identical-ness ends up with a pair of Sweet 16 or better runs and not a pair of first weekend exits.
