There hasn't been much international competition lately, so the status of the team (membership, have they been practicing, etc.) isn't known. Brazil normally has a respectable international team, so even if they're not exactly game-ready right now, the good result I'm expecting is based on players getting experience - not on winning the exhibition.
Good to hear. And I agree, the results aren't as important so much as the opportunity to work the new guys into the system and have some team/chemistry building through the extra practices and travel conditions.
I know UNI scheduled the teams they have played for a couple of different reasons: the first batch of three games were scheduled on three consecutive days to get some experience playing on consecutive days. Two of the games were against lower level teams so as to allow the younger players the opportunity to get into the flow and use more rotations. The last two games of the trip are against higher level professional clubs and have a little more time between them. I would think there may be a tighter rotation in the players used in these last two games.
