The timeout was the one I thought was a bad miss, especially since Stanford then scored to go up by a possession and that pretty much changed the flow of the game from there on out. The Redbirds should've had the last possession needing a bucket to tie and a 3 to win OR Stanford would've been forced to make a shot for the win on the last possession and we could've been looking at another OT.
All in all it was a very fun game to watch, unfortunate to see ISU lose but in the 2nd half their shot selection at times left was questionable. I understand that you do not play to not lose and they had been shooting the 3 at an unbelievable percentage, but they threw up too many bad looks instead of making an extra pass or two and working for a higher percentage shot. Just my observation. Clearly the better team but between shot selection, defense and I don't know how many TO's ISU averages but 17 of them sure didn't help any.
