NCAA needs to have a tournament this year for the money generated. They can't lose 2 March Madness in a row. My worry is that mid-major conferences won't play or can't afford to play without buy games from the power leagues, which then leads to an NCAA tourney that excludes a lot of leagues.

And if the season ends up being just conference games, they will have a lot of ammo to do that since mid majors "won't have played anyone".
