UE at home vs UT Martin and in Dallas at SMU. Good chance for a win at home. Very little chance for a win at SMU.

Unless the Aces figure out how to play defense, shoot the ball from 3, rebound, a better rotation, win 50/50 balls or how to be tougher than their opponents, they are all but guaranteed a 3rd 20+ loss season in the last 4 years. A COVID-shortened 2019-2020 season saved them from this being a 4th consecutive 20+ loss season.

Go Aces! Fire Licklitter, AD Spencer and their entire staffs.

The UE Ladies Basketball, and Volleyball programs prove it can be done the right way. Sadly the men's program needs to start over with smart aggressive coaches, and a new AD, although he has done a good job with the Ladies programs.

No offense to the ones getting the most court minutes, but the ones getting the most court minutes are going to go down as the worst 4 year run in program history. They need to sit and let others have a chance. Repeating the mistakes of last year is in no way improving the program.

Nice win for Missouri State tonight against a good South Dakota State team. Looks like they might be getting something going.

What a frustrating team. They clearly have the talent on the roster to beat anyone in the MVC. Looking at their schedule, they really should be 10-1. They have one more shot at a really good non-conf win next week vs St. Mary's. Looking forward to that one.

The Bears defense, which has failed them at times in their losses (especially to ETSU and SEMO) has really improved. South Dakota State came in last night as a pretty prolific offensive team and the Bears really guarded them well. They have started to look more like the Bears team that they are capable of being. Still without starting PG Demarcus Sharp, and the team is going thru a bout of the flu that affected Prim earlier this week and kept out Keaton Hervey last night. Interested to see if Sharp immeditaly slides back into the starting PG role when healthy, because sophomore LuCye Patterson has been doing some really good things in his absence.

Bears playing better, but this is who they are. They will frustrate and excite off and on . They will be very dangerous in STL , more so than in recent years because they have real spurtability with their increased outside shooting . Prim and Mosley demand attention in 1:1 battles often drawing a helper, when Minnett and Black are hitting, and both shoot it pretty deep, it gets difficult to contain this Bears group. Clay is helping steady the defense, they're getting some passable minutes from Carpers behind Prim, and when Sharp and Hervey retrurn to the mix, then you have a pair of starters off a solid team last year, coming off the bench along with Haney , Minnett, and Carpers. That's the kind of depth needed come tourney time.
The Bear is the largest carnivore on the North American continent; beware the Bear!

Drake squeaked by Jackson State in overtime. that's three wins in a row for the Valley which might be the longest streak of the season. We are within 5 games of .500. I seriously doubt the Valley has ever had a losing non-conference record. At least not since World War 2.
