Unless the Aces figure out how to play defense, shoot the ball from 3, rebound, a better rotation, win 50/50 balls or how to be tougher than their opponents, they are all but guaranteed a 3rd 20+ loss season in the last 4 years. A COVID-shortened 2019-2020 season saved them from this being a 4th consecutive 20+ loss season.
Go Aces! Fire Licklitter, AD Spencer and their entire staffs.

The UE Ladies Basketball, and Volleyball programs prove it can be done the right way. Sadly the men's program needs to start over with smart aggressive coaches, and a new AD, although he has done a good job with the Ladies programs.

The Bears defense, which has failed them at times in their losses (especially to ETSU and SEMO) has really improved. South Dakota State came in last night as a pretty prolific offensive team and the Bears really guarded them well. They have started to look more like the Bears team that they are capable of being. Still without starting PG Demarcus Sharp, and the team is going thru a bout of the flu that affected Prim earlier this week and kept out Keaton Hervey last night. Interested to see if Sharp immeditaly slides back into the starting PG role when healthy, because sophomore LuCye Patterson has been doing some really good things in his absence.
