Most kids don't. Most leave HS as stars. Few leave as college stars.

Agreed but the good ones adapt. Some of you act like he won't get a shot off in the Valley but I know I have seen my share of wide open looks. Adam Leonard found a way to get some looks and he is 3" shorter and not as athletic. Looking forward to revisiting this in a few years to see if 13 DI coaches were wrong.

Nobody is saying that he's going to suck. He just needs to speed up his release. Leonard's shot wasn't near as slow as this kids. It can be done. Some make the transition to a quicker release just fine, and some struggle. I've seen both happen at the HS level. As is, if he gets a wide open look, he's going to hurt you. If not, he won't do much from deep.

He does appear to handle the ball quite well and is one you can't go to sleep on when on D.

The only thing I said in reference to this young man is that he has a slow release; others seem to agree. My statement about most kids not adapting to the college game has nothing more to do with this young man than anything other unblemished recruit.

Speaking of slow... This kid is one of the top recruits in the country this year; love watching him play!

Not only do you know his name, but you know his dimensions as well; cute.

Shot looks a lot better in this video than in the first video I saw. Like you and others have said TN, I'll take the %'s he has put up and find ways to get him open.
