I'm pretty sure Jake Koch sets an illegal screen every time he sets a screen. He was about doing the splits at the top of the key. I think that had to do with the dribble penetration by UNI. Also it was funny watching O'rear flopping.

Most Shocker fans here have been very realistic and humble after last night's game, so I'm inclined to smile and let this slide. ;)

He has a point. O'Rear flopping was comical. And there were a lot of illegal screens set. However, if the officiating is going to let that slide the team HAS to adjust. They did not.

It's true that UNI masters the art of setting the illegal screen without it being called. Also the art of the flop.

I'm being totally honest here but I think Jacobsen has dedicate a lot of time in practice actually bringing in an acting teacher and helping with this technique. It's not just one player either. The entire team seems to turn a touch foul into one where they just got punched in the gut. I guess you have to tip your hats to UNI for having the refs buy it each and every time.

There was one possession late when I think Koch took a charge. Mitch Holthus thought Koch was badly injured and hurt as he was rolling around on the floor. When the referee signaled the charge, it's like he succeeded and magically he got up and was running down to the other side of the floor perfectly fine.

Here's my vehicle after last night's game... thanks UNI for making my life even more miserable. :(
Seriously, congratulations on a well played game... you deserved the win.

I did not mean it in a bad way. If the refs are going to let him do it then more power to him. I think northern won it fair and square.

Looks like UNI, yet again, lucked their way to another win. Of course, due to poor officiating, use of illegal screens, flopping UNI players, and lucky shooting.

Your analysis is pretty spot-on.

Are you really telling me you thought UNI would shoot 60% from the field, score almost 80 points, and above all that, expect a win in that type of tempo?

You can be sarcastic all you want, but UNI didn't win with their type of game. And you know it too.
