I am just going to stop wasting the key-strokes because I am not sure anyone has really said we are going to run away with the valley...we are just saying that a little respect is deserved because it seems everytime ISU wins the game the next one is when our honeymoon is over lol...We beat Creighton "honeymoon ends when they play MSU, they will lose by double digits." We beat MSU and now we are going to get "creamed by WSU...who is pretty pissed off so I cant say if fwe lose I will be super suprised but I think it will be closer than most think...

Looks like my prediction of a swelling Indiana State population on this board is coming to fruition.

It is apples and oranges compared to 2006. We aren't battling anyone else for an at-large spot. We will be conference champs. We will have actually beat someone worth while in conference. And we could end up with as many as 7 or 8 more wins.

If we win one game in STL that year, UNI does not go and we do. They were not going to take 5 teams from the Valley no matter what and we just happened to be the first to lose in STL.

Ironically, the only thing that is comparable is that both years we had terrible non-conferences. Which is why this years BB is going to be so big for us.

I like Ken Pom and I mostly agree with his break down...

Well you're about to get your wish. Thank you for being patient, though. IT IS INDIANA STATE'S FAULT FOR THE VALLEY BEING A ONE BID LEAGUE. Thank you so much for playing worse than my 4th grade Pizza Hut league team against Wyoming, Ball State, and Eastern Kentucky. Those losses make the Valley look just absolutely terrific right now. You pull off back-to-back miracles, with the assistance of some country-fried referees, against two top-4 teams in the Valley, AT HOME, and suddenly Indiana State acts like Larry Bird just waddled back to Terre Haute and pulled on powder-blue short shorts. Oh, and thanks so much for RUSHING THE COURT against an unranked team at home. That really made the league look professional. Yes, Indiana State, thanks again for proving that you have what it takes to lead this league back to glory. No wonder the Valley is "America's Renaissance Conference." It's just such a shame that none of the NCAA games will be played in Terre Haute, but fortunately for you, I don't think any of the bottom-of-the-barrel trash you lost to in the non-conference will make the CIT, much less the NCAA's, so maybe you have a shot to make a run after all.

hahahahahahahahaha i could not stop laughing after reading this. But next time try and be a little bit more open with your thoughts! :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

Just to remind everyone what the committee thinks of the MVC, here is UNI's resume last year that was awarded the worst #9 seed.

-28-4 (15-3)
-MVC Regular Season Champs
-MVC Tournament Champs
-Ranked 24th in coaches poll
-RPI ranking of 17th
-ONE non-conference loss
-3 BCS wins
-4 top 50 RPI wins

Kyle,
that was one of the worst deductions in Committee history, no doubt...

Ummm, wasn't KU the #1 overall seed? Therefore they would get the worst 8-seed and the best 9-seed. Regardless, UNI should have never have been a 9-seed
