The in bound play was a very heady play by Weems. They had thrown that lob out several times before. Leaned out and split the defenders.

CU fan response: "WAAAAAAAAAH". Face it: the Bears barely showed up, and all they had to do was wait around for your seniors to choke. You can hate Martin all you want. No one cares.

That's funny...no mention of McD not getting a well-earned T by stopping a game when his team didn't even have the ball with under three to go? Was that a "classy" move?

If the seniors are that bad, why are they playing ahead of the younger guys? Are the younger guys even worse???? Maybe it's time to fire the coach!

Like I said before the game, you don't have to win pretty. In no way, shape, or form did we deserve to win this but CU had plenty of opportunities to seal it and did not.

On to Des Moines!

No he deserved a T, was trying to get a T and the refs were pussies. How does that compare to screaming in a 20 year old's face while shaking his hand?

Your coach was an ahole and you can't gloss that over.

Martin is officially on the "dick" list. Going through the handshake line and screaming in the face of the CU players. He is not a 20 year old kid...he is the coach. Grow up.

Yeah, because coaches NEVER get caught up in the moment  Not condoning what he did but I would say 99.9% of people who have come across him wouldn't ever consider him a "****". Just one of those moments after a big win. No biggie.

Free throw shooting cost CU a win on the road. If they can hit some FT's at the end, the Bears don't have much of a shot. Congratulations MSU on keeping it close enough to make a charge at the end. I didn't like what Martin did through the line, but there was A LOT of emotion in that game. It would be tough to turn it off, especially after that ending.

As for MSU being a lock for an at-large (someone stated that like 10 posts ago)...you couldn't be further from right. So far their best wins are @UNI and @WSU. Your best wins can't come from within the conference. With an RPI of 40 and SOS of 118, they have a long way to go. I think if they can finish the season off with 1...MAYBE 2...more losses, and they need to get at least one win in STL, they have a shot. The Valley is a one-bid league, and I don't think it is going to come in the form of an auto-bid. The extra three spots do help though.

Your coach was an ahole and you can't change that.

Dude, he was facing our crowd. Was he next to CU players? Yes. Was he screaming in their faces? Hardly.

Either they're poor, innocent twenty-year-olds who can't handle the situation, or they're seniors who "choke" and "should be put on waivers". Pick one.
