Of course he starts it at 1985 so instead of say 1980 because u would have to add in another
1 NCAA
1 Elite 8
2 MVC Regular season Championships
so you really have:
5 NCAA
1 S-16
1 Elite 8
3 Regular Season Champions
2 tournament Champion
Or from 1980 to Present
NIT Championship
10 NCAA Appearances
2 S-16
1 Elite 8
1 Final 4
7 Regular Season Champions
4 MVC tournament Champions
25 years is plenty of years to see. But I didn't think you would want to go back to '80. Because we would have to include NCAA violations and that doesn't look good on a program.
I will stick with the 25 year mark, half a centruy. SIU and Illinois St was arguably better then Wichita St. I know it's a hard pill to swallow for the Shocker faithful as they think their crap don't stink.
The last 6 years Wichita has been one of the better programs in the country. Things can change that quickly. Enjoy it while you can and don't think you can't fall back to SIU level. It can and will happen eventually.
You're such a desperate fool. But I'll entertain you again nonetheless.
What exactly is your point of picking out arbitrary periods of time that have nothing to do with.. well anything? Because that's the only thing you have since the present is so unforgiving for you?
Are you comparing WSU and SIU and thinking both situations are the same? Was SIU able to pay its coaches millions of dollars in the mid-2000s? The landscapes are completely different now than when SIU's decline began in 2007. And it's become clear that is your one true hope in life that WSU will become a perennial play-in team EVENTUALLY. Well, considering that time is unending, the odds might be in your favor for that to happen in the next 1000 years. But unfortunately for you, WSU is in a much better position than SIU was in 2007, both financially, nationally-perceived, and with support. Not to mention they appear to have interest in better conferences which would make them impossible to sink to a level of SIU because a bad American team is better than a bad Valley team.
If WSU does end up like the program you hope and pray for, then this conference becomes a bunch of Evansvilles, wallowing around in obscurity. You hope WSU gets taken down to your level, than wanting your school catch WSU.
You're a pathetic Hoosier/Aces fan and have a horrible understanding of basketball.
