10 minutes to tip. I hope the Panthers don't let this one slip out of their hands. Get em Panthers!

You will get no arguments on that one. Four MVC road games so far, and they've lost them all by at least 16.

I'm interested in hearing more about why you say that. Drake fans (including myself) have been all over Phelps all season, but I'm curious what would make a fan of an opposing team say that.

Drake was lifeless. Just completely lifeless.

Phelps spent about 20 minutes arguing with the official about how he thought Kwadzo was carrying the ball. This was while his team was down by 25 points.

Drake was just never, ever in this game. And it didn't look like they expected to be.

Nevermind the fact that his PG carried the ball worse than any PG I've ever watched.

Oh well, that same player, Ryan Wedel, air balled a 3 pointer and then barely ticked the front of the rim with a couple shots in the first half and he was ridden the entire game about it. He then threw an in bounds pass where the closest player to it was probably 20 feet as it said OB.

BUT, he did make a three with a couple minutes left and got a standing ovation for it.

He was Drake's night rolled into one person.

But yeah, they are bad.

In defense of Wedel, he is not a point guard, but has been forced to play the position due to injuries. As far as the airball, it was an off-balance 25-footer while well-guarded as the shot clock was running out.

Can you help me translate the portion of your post that I have quoted in red letters?

What he meant in Drake speak was:
"The chap threw a errant pass on an inbounds play. The nearest Bulldog player was verily within 20 feet of the shooty hoops ball." :D
