No doubt his coaching hasn't been what is needed. But the roster has been improving every year (not many MVC teams can say that). I'd say he has a year or two left to prove himself here. However, I think this is the year we finish top 3 and have a serious chance of winning Arch Madness.
With Valpo's addition to the league, the two best recruiting classes this year now belong to the two newest members. But sure, continue to sit back and blame LU for the conference's issues--not Bradley or ISUb or Drake. Since we've joined the conference, no current member has made the tourney except UNI. But yeah, we are the problem.

Recruiting classes don't mean dick if you can't develop them.
I'll take a "lesser" recruiting class with a coach that can develop players, coach a system, create a game plan, and make in game adjustments every single day over someone that can recruit "the best class". What's even laughable as F*** about that is by looking at the average stars every single school falls within THREE TENTHS OF A STAR.
Even funnier? UNI is at the bottom of those rankings EVERY year, and I do mean every year. Yet what was that line in your post...

UNI is the only program to win an NCAA game in the last decade left in this conference.
UNI owns all but 2 NCAA shares the conference has earned over the last decade. One of those two expires this year with the "last decade".
UNI has 7 NCAA appearances since the start of the 03/04 season. The rest of the MVC schools left in the conference have 7 COMBINED BETWEEN ALL 8 OF THEM TOTAL OVER THAT TIME and 4 of those belong to SIU between 03 and 07
Please keep bragging about recruiting classes that are three tenths of a point higher than UNI.
All those highly rated recruiting classes Valpo has pulled in? No NCAA wins since 1998 and only 2 NCAA appearances since joining the Horizon from The Summit a decade ago.
Lol--no s*** recruiting classes don't mean anything if they aren't developed. I was posting a reason LU fans are optimistic--not cocky.
And your post basically proved my point that the other programs in this conference have been a joke, not just LU. So, thanks for that.
