I know beyond the tv games they try to regionalize everything to try and keep traveling at a minimum, but I would really like a matchup against Nevada soley because they will have to come back to RBA (according to Katz next year are the return games).

ESPN pretty much handpicks the TV matchups based on RPI, ratings potential and intrigue. The rest of the matchups are generally worked out among the participating conference commissioners and coaches using an online scheduling service like go2meeting or something similar.

The Valley schools have always had a fair amount of say in who their members get to play, and I know Bradley has handpicked several Horizon schools and been granted their priority.

I would love to see George Mason back in Wichita again

ODU and Cleveland State would be absolute steals for CU and ISUb. I don't think either one happens.

The only reason I don't see MSU getting ODU is because Cleveland State is further east and a) they won't be sent to St. Mary's and b) they can't be paired with Valpo.

Any top 100 RPI team would be OK at this point but not overly excited about playing Valpo...would prefer St. Mary's or ODU but a lot depends on what happens in our next 2 games

The St Mary's/Utah St match-up is perfect for the 11:00pm game. Both teams are out west and their timezones would allow for the best ratings. Unfortunately, I don't think Valley schools will get a chance at either one.

I figure they will match those 2 up but they did just play each other in this in 2009/10 so I wasn't sure. I know our staff is really pushing for the St. Mary's game and IF we win both games this week we will be 18-4 with an RPI in the low 30's.

St. Mary's would be fun. You would get to see what CU missed out on by letting Kenton Walker get away - which I never thought was much of a loss.

I'd be really surprised if Creighton got a TV game. Our RPI is above 100 and we have no good wins. I'm expecting us to get some no name school from some no name conference. I hope I'm wrong and our name recognition can get us a good game, getting ODU or some type of "name" team net year at the Qwest would be nice...I suspect if we win the next two games, we might have a shot at a TV game.

LOW 30s? Isn't that Barry range? You're a lock.

I kid.
