BTW my source is very close to the situation and I trust them. In fact, I sent an email and they called me because everything is so hush-hush. But they told me it was Murray State, I didn't ask.

Murray State did not get a HL invite... (they are not leaving the OVC for the HL, regardless)

It was a fake twitter account. It appears that the tweet was deleted. I'm sure the HL would want them but Murray State doesn't want to go to the HL (especially without Valpo there anymore).

I think Murray State would be a good 12th if the MVC could convince Belmont to join along with them, but Belmont's AD/Pres don't want to compete in a tougher league. Maybe they will change their mind. They should want to come with Murray State to help build a multi-bid league with the rest of MVC teams.

It has been confirmed that IUPUI received the invite. Yeesh.

IUPUI caught me and pretty much everyone completely off guard. Does not seem to be popular among Horizon League fans. Not seeing a lot of positive feedback.

IUPUI was indeed a surprise, we'll see if they join in 2017 or 2018.
