I know that I'm a UNI fan, but I would say that he is easily first-team. He has been absolutely dominant in MVC play this season. I think he is for sure a top 3 player in this league.

There is no doubt that Kwadzo is a 1st teamer and is right there with Weems for POY. In my eyes those are the only 2 players who are worthy of it at this point. I think Weems will probably get it, especially if the Bears win the conference, but if not then Kwadzo could get the nod. Should be awesome watching these 2 on the same court again this Sunday!

Speaking of POY, preseason POY Kenny Lawson has been dominant this year...

I would agree with this exactly... but if WSU wins the league, Durley will have a chance at POY, whether he deserves it or not. Koch wasn't the best individual player in the league last year, but he was the leader of the best team.

You mis-spelled "dormant"

What the heck happened with him? I figured he would make a heck of "4" especially with Echinique inside. He didn't even try a mid-range shot last night, I remember him being pretty solid from 15-18 feet.

I would put Faye of USI ahead of at least one the guys you have on the second team.

Which one though? I like him but think he's behind the others.

Better make room for Jake Odum soon in these awards...

Dougie Fresh has emerged as a dominant 4, GE is way better than Lawson at the 5 and MAC has stopped experimenting w/GE, Lawson and Kenny in the same lineup which I kind of disagree with. With those 3 on the court, I don't think we played great but we didn't play bad either, I just think it wasn't given enough time but MAC definitely is not going to sacrifice Doug's or GE's minutes for Lawson at this point.

I was waiting until I had a chance to see all of the teams play before making my list. After finally seeing UNI, here's what I think for first team:

Weems
Ahelegbe
Durley
Warren
McDermott

Although Bradley's record is rough, Warren is just putting up huge numbers. Weems and Ahlegbe are easy choices. Durley is the heart and soul of WSU and a tough matchup for everyone else. McDermott is for real.

Mallet and Colt Ryan just miss the list.

POY - Weems
FOY - McDermott
NOY - If the award is given to a non-frosh, I say Seck gets it.
