Sunday's Games

13-7 now with Creighton and UE winners on Saturday. Looking to finish off a strong weekend. Opening lines given. Home team in CAPS.

ILLINOIS STATE (-4) vs. Drake

The Redbird's ATS record in this spot is not very good. 3-8 ATS as favorites and 3-7 ATS at home. They are however 2-3 ATS in conference home games. Not much to brag about, but enough to give us a play as we go against Drake and their ATS record in this spot. The Bulldogs are 5-8 as underdogs and 2-5 in true road games ATS. We go against Drake here because of their 1-5 ATS record as confernce underdogs and an 0-4 ATS record in conference road games. Play against Drake here. PREDICTION: Illinois State 68-60.

MISSOURI STATE (-7) vs. Northern Iowa

The Bears have not been strong in these spots. They are only 2-4-2 ATS as favorites within the conference and have yet to cover in conference home games with a 0-2-2 ATS record. They are 7-5-2 ATS as favorites for the entire year. The Panthers however aren't strong enough here to play. They are 4-2 ATS as underdogs, but they are only 2-6 ATS in true road games and 1-3 ATS in conference road games. No play here.
PREDICTION: Missouri State 67-60

-7 seems way too much. Every time someone says something like this, the games usually follow right in line with the oddsmakers, but I'm thinking that game will be a couple points either way.

Seven seems like WAY too many to give to UNI in this game. The Bears should be favored, but not by seven.

I'll take both underdogs and the points.

There's no way Drake got that three off. ISU wins one. Terrible final play by Drake is a mark of a poorly-coached team. That may be the nail in the Phelps coffin.

LOL, it was better than their final play in regulation, when they got the ball with 8 seconds left and a tie game.
