All I know is this: if the MWC gets Gonzaga then it is absolutely IMPERATIVE that the MVC AT LEAST add Murray State. No excuses now. Use the money Loyola just generated to finance any additional travel costs.

Now a team made a Final Four one year later and has made the Valley $8.2 million!

Everything went great for the Valley this year. UNI was 5 points away on a Friday in March from making none of this possible. The Valley needs to get to a point where a great team in Loyola doesn’t need to win 3 games in St. Louis just to have a shot at competing against the big boys. Whether that’s through non-con scheduling or expansion I don’t have the answer but someone needs to have it. The best team isn’t going to win Arch Madness every year.

We were the 8th best conference this year.
