If 180-200k per year....even 240k.... is a big deal to your D1 AD in the grand scheme of things....you’re doing it way wrong.

Here goes uniftl again

If UNI is better than the money being given for Loyola's success, then I am sure the other 9 schools will gladly find a use for it rather than the subsidies it's taking currently to fund it's athletics departments.

Guess grooming the Valpo board hasn’t yielded the expected returns.

George Mason’s donations expanded 25%. Loyola’s 660%. Says it all. The league received more $-per-school this tournament than every league but 5. No need to split hairs or soon enough we’ll be measuring swimming pools.

True post. He hangs out on the Valpo board bashing them because they are the only program that finished below them, and they haven't caught on to his delusions of grandeur yet. Somebody had to replace Baller around here.

Glad to see money just falling out of the trees up there. You would think all that cash would have yielded something better than 9th place and the play in game. The two other veteran coaches who showed up that night got fired over it.

Can't wait for the pool report.

Why would anyone want someone other than their own school making the NCAA's?

If your conference mates make the tournament your school gets money, too. The more that make it the more chances the conference has to have at least one team go deep increasing the amount of money your school gets.

Apparently I wasn't clear enough in my post. :) Thanks 1Birds for explaining further.

An SIU fan should not be talking s*** about other teams attendance, what with their 3700 a game.

It's throwing stones in glass houses. Sadly, that trend is the norm through SIU.

Arguing Valley attendance is a waste of time.
