If the reports on this kid are accurate (BU got him because Boya's AAU coach is the father of a BU assistant; BU otherwise has no chance at this potentially high-major talent), this moves the needle a little bit for the 18-19 season. Bradley's front court is going to be huge and athletic. We'll see what Wardle does with it. If he can coach the way most of us think he can, hard to see BU lower than 3. But yajusneverknow.

Frontcourt won't be a problem. #191 in the 247 Composite ranking for his class.

Bradley will struggle to score the ball still. That will be the difference between a something like 3rd and 5th place for this group.

Defense will be way ahead of the offense but it'll help to add athletes like Brummett, Bile and -- now -- Henry. After McGlaston left the Braves may have been the least athletic in the Valley. Not sure what to make of Henry who averaged 29 ppg in Canada.

A few years ago, the Shockers made several trips to Canada for preseason basketball. On both trips, the Shockers had their hands full in Canada. You just might have a player on your hands. Good luck.

Thanks. Canada can produce some good players certainly, and one this year is Duke commit RJ Barrett. I'm cautiously optimistic keeping in mind that Henry's monster stats were put up against less than stellar competition (he's the first Saskatchewan player to be invited to the national all star game). We could use the scoring punch. We were within a bucket of Loyola in STL for what seemed like an eternity late in the 2H because we couldn't get a good shot/make a shot.

I would be absolutely shocked if Ja'Shon Henry played meaningful minutes as a freshman. The goal for him is to be a rotational guy as an upperclassmen. If that happens BU did a nice job with a very late get for the 13th scholarship. Of the four newcomers I would expect only Boya and Bile to be in the rotation.

I hope Boya is good enough to be part of the rotation as a freshman. That could be huge if he can block shots or rebound.

I'm not too optimistic about Bile.

I've heard varying opinions about the new Canadian. I guess we will get an early preview with this European vacation.

What a high-class guy..

Back to Canada... ILST had a few Canadians over the past five years in Kaza Keane (who was a June signee) and Mikyle McIntosh, who had the chance to be dominant in this league but never really took the next step. Bird fans sometimes think about what could have been having Yarborough and McIntosh on the same team.

Canada players (like American players) are definitely hit or miss. Forever Tyler Ennis, there are 10 Kaza Keanes.

Disclaimer: After leaving ISU, Keane went to Cleveland State and saw limited action, then transferred to Carleton where he is going to be known as one of the best players in the team's history. He spent last season with the 905 Raptors in the G-League.

Bradley has had some really good success with Canadians in the past including James Gillingham (Early 2000's and Jerome Robinson (Late 90's).
