Meanwhile, Evansville area Dunkin Donut locations are bracing for a dramatic loss in sales.

Illinois state has a good chance to face clemson this season! It will be like nothing changed. Maybe his waistline with all those southern fried foods.

18 - 8 is what...10? Looking at ESPN that's the only loss of points I see. AND, Bol is coming back and he's not even listed because he didn't play. Its not common sense once you actually look and see theyre not losing many points AND they have an extra player back.

My challenge stands.

Wow. Never said they would average 80 points per game. Here, I looked it up, something you didn't do or at least comprehend the math.

Jonathan Wiley (senior last year) - 5.8 ppg
Tyler Smithpeters (senior last year) - 7.7 ppg

Totals = 13.5 ppg lost to graduation

The team averaged 70 ppg last year

minus - 13.5 ppg
= 56.5 ppg returning

To get an extra 12-18 ppg as you assume per the earlier message that would jump them (using the mean of 15 ppg more) at 71.5 ppg.

Those players can easily make that up...

Mic drop

I'm still waiting for the response to this! There was so much confidence in the early replies.

We won't get a response from him. He realizes now he was way wrong and won't admit...just ignore it.

Clarance's performance in this tournament has to have Redbird fans excited. Those numbers are incredible. Serious breakout candidate.

Elijah had a great tournament. His team finished 14th and I believe Sweden gets relegated to B group. FIBA played every game live on YouTube, so I got the chance to watch them all. This was my (and most Redbird fans) opportunity to see Clarance in significant game action/minutes. He showed flashes last season, most noticeable the regular season games against SIU. We were excited when EC committed because his highlight tape was full of game winning 3-pointers and explosive dunks. He showed that Elijah in this tournament. He still needs to work on his jump shot and finishing at the rim. MVC guards will have a hell of a time keeping EC in front of them. I think he will be fouled a TON. Good news is that his FT % improved throughout the tournament. He ended shooting 71.7% from the line.

His numbers are surely impressive. He led all scorers in the tournament with 22.4 (42.4% from the field) points in just shy of 27 mpg. The next best scorer averaged 21 in 35 min. EC also averaged 6.4 rebounds, 2.7 assists, almost 2 steals, and unfortunately 3.7 TOs. He had the ball in his hand a lot due to the lack of talent on his team.

I think his role with the Redbirds will be a spark off the bench type of guy. What is important is how he will handle going from being THE guy with Sweden to a role player with the Redbirds. That's quite the transition.

I'm sure he'll have no problem accepting his role. On such an experienced roster, the sixth man role is best for him.

Probably 7th or 8th depending on need. Tinsley will be 6th (if he starts, it'll be Copeland), then I'm sure the Birds will need some size to get a rest for Fayne/Yarbrough. Tinsley could check in for either of these two and the Birds play small ball, but ISU will need soph Bruninga, and freshman Idowu to be able to give some minutes in Fayne's absence.

Still hoping N'Diaye qualifies but not holding my breath.
