I am predicting that the Red Birds will go undefeated next season. In conference play.

Probably 7th or 8th depending on need. Tinsley will be 6th (if he starts, it'll be Copeland), then I'm sure the Birds will need some size to get a rest for Fayne/Yarbrough. Tinsley could check in for either of these two and the Birds play small ball, but ISU will need soph Bruninga, and freshman Idowu to be able to give some minutes in Fayne's absence.

Still hoping N'Diaye qualifies but not holding my breath.

The talent is certainly there for Bruninga. Valpo fans liked him quite a bit when he was coming out of high school. Just needs to bulk up.

I agree VUGrad...Bruninga has a lot of upside so hopefully he continues to develop.
He was forced to play out of position a lot last year with King David missing 13 games and Fayne out for 4 games. That was asking a lot of a Freshman coming from a super small HS to match up inside with D1 big
men.

With big Rey (6'9" 230) coming in Taylor should be able to play the Wing/Stretch 4 position that more suits
his body type and skills. I would bet his minutes per game will go down as a Sophomore but with the way
he shoots I am sure Coach Muller will find more favorable match-ups for him this season.

ISU fans saw a different Taylor Bruninga than the rest of us did :D

Why time at a premium? The audio of all 3 coaches clocked in at under 1 minute.

Always amazes me how people who write articles for a living so often have errors in their facts. For some reason numerous writers are having trouble getting Josh Webster's status right. Have seen multiple times where he is listed as a straight transfer and not eligible till next year; this was the first time I saw him listed a freshman. Josh is just a normal grad transfer who will play this year and then be done.

So if I've got this right the MVC has the:

#1 SF Milik Yarbrough Illinois State
#5 PG Clayton Custer Loyola
#5 C Cameron Krutwig Loyola
#10 C Phillip Fayne Illinois State
HM SF Marques Townes Loyola
HM PG Keyshawn Evans Illinois State
HM PG Jordan Barnes Indiana State

Not bad. Those Rambler- Redbird games are going to be must see TV

Going to be a fun season. Could see the MVC have two top 25 teams. It would surprise me if the MVC isn't a two bud league next season
