#5 PG Clayton Custer Loyola
#5 C Cameron Krutwig Loyola
#10 C Phillip Fayne Illinois State
HM SF Marques Townes Loyola
HM PG Keyshawn Evans Illinois State
HM PG Jordan Barnes Indiana State

Not bad. Those Rambler- Redbird games are going to be must see TV

Going to be a fun season. Could see the MVC have two top 25 teams. It would surprise me if the MVC isn't a two bud league next season

Let's hope!

Agreed. 2+ bids in the league is what we Crusader fans signed up for! I'm rooting for each and every team to get it done in the nonconference and in the postseason! Go MVC! Let the cream rise to the top! May our best teams no matter who they are advance to the tournament and find success each year!

Looking at that list of players I don't think it should surprise anyone if each member of the all MVC first team is listed here but I'll open it up: who else do you think could challenge for a spot this year?

Agreed with pippen. When he wasn't in the game the opposing bigs went off.

I think it will be tough for any Crusaders to crack this list this year but watch out next year. I think the list could be heavily populated with Valpo players then.

How pippen isn't on those list pretty much discredits them. Also Barnes should of been top ten.

I agree, Birdfan, if there's any Crusader who can do it this year it's him. I just think the guard position is so deep this year that next year is a good ETA date for him and a couple others on the squad.

Article on SIU and Valpo.

Personally I think he could have included Bradley and UNI in this article as well. They fit the bill as growing\maturing rosters I think.
