Loyola plays Niagara and Grambling State as on-campus games and during the actual tournament they play Richmond then the winner of Boston College/Wyoming

I know that but the games are given to them as part of the MTE.

Wardle is about where I'd expect going into year 4, showing slow but steady improvement. The way he did the rebuild is a bit slower than most, because he went almost exclusively with freshman for each class, and the first class wasn't going to wow anybody given the late spring start-- only DLO is a starter from that initial class going into their senior year, and Van Bree the only other contributor. Brown, Bar, Kennell, Childs are the meat of this team and were just soph and frosh last year. What I will say about the first class is they were all good kids, stayed out of trouble, not lazy, and set a good cultural foundation.

Marshall was able to short circuit his rebuild by bringing in JUCOs and meshing them together, and at the same time establish a culture ("Play Angry"). It was a helluva feat. There was no short circuiting Wardle's rebuild-- his two JUCOs (McGlaston and Bile) were near total flameouts. We might still be a year away from what he's been building towards but I expect more steady progress.

Barry Hinson on his team's Cuba trip, Thik Bol's prospects for playing this year, and the in-season Buffalo home and home

Bears have reportedly added a road game at Oregon State ; also supposedly looking at another P-5 opponent for a 2:1 . Already have Nebraska and either Texas Tech or So. Cal in KC tourney, and W Kentucky at home. Need another quality home game yet.

Good stuff! Looks like Ford is scheduling up as well as recruiting well. I'm excited about the direction of the Bears program.

UNI will play @Old Dominion as their non-bracketed game from the Paradise Jam.

ODU is also returning the game the year after. Mizzou didn't have a date that matched. Not a great trade-off...

Sounds like the UNI/Mizzou H&H was as credible as Austin Reaves committing to UNI after a horrid OU visit.

@ODU qualified for a Q1 game last year. Certainly not a series to be unhappy with.

ODU is a great series. Certainly nothing to sneeze at.
