Well granted they made the Canadian Final Four last year and just beat Ole Miss by 18 and Cincinnati by 19, but a 62 point win is just a bit surprising.

technically, yes we are. there and have been ncaa Canadian teams. mostly in swimming, lacrosse, hockey, etc.

I wouldn't add SDSU without adding NDSU. While NDSU has been a little down the past couple seasons (in basketball), they will be back. I bet if they were both added one of them would win the league within their first few seasons. Neither school wants to lose in any of their sports. Their football teams are solid, basketball is good, and even their baseball is pretty decent. Both schools would end up being UNI type programs, with the potential to be even better. They are both the flagship schools in their states. I think most on here that oppose them (particularly NDSU) are just scared they couldn't keep up with them. Believe me these are the schools that would bring the conference up.

I know there are a lot of football haters on here, but just look at how much they've brought up the MVFC. Last season the MVFC was even with the Mountain West in the power rankings and well ahead of conference like the CUSA, MAC, and Sun Belt. That's unheard of for an FCS conference. The MVC really needs to grab these two before it really is too late.

With the commotion in Carbondale should the MVC hedge their bet and move Edwardsville and Murray State in now for 2019-2020
