Impressive. Would CU be a lock for the play in game without Dougie Fresh? GMac seriously needs to get started on a thank you note to his buddy Ben.

CU might be just be a play-in team, and UNI might just be 3-peat champs.

Lot has to happen for both those to come true. I can't see CU falling farther than 6th even if they continue to fall. UNI evened it up against MSU but still have 4 road games and has to entertain WSU and ISUb at home.

I meant that as a hypothetical as if UNI had Doug this year, and CU didn't, as Kyle mentioned in his post.

How does a team lose by one at the first place team in the league and then lose by 8 to the last place team in the league? I give up predicting games with this team.

Bradley is much better than their 1-11 record. Sounds silly, I know. But they do have some talent, and Warren has been unstoppable in a few games this year. The roster depletion, and the general dysfunction of that program right now has killed their season, but they still are not a typical last place team IMO.

Anybody want to shed some light on an argument between the coaching staffs in this game? Heard there was no handshake between Mac and Les or something? Whats the deal there?

Your comment drew an audible chuckle. A nice solid win for the Braves, the Jays are having one heck of transition year for G.M.

Sorry Evansville....no way the Jays blow this one.

This post deserves to be bumped again. Nice call.

The time change affected BOTH teams EVENLY. To even bring that up as an excuse shows that one is limited in their knowledge of the game.

Very nice Baller.....you and only you on this board would re re post something like this. Not many people, unless you are a die hard Braves fan, could have predicted the Jays laying such a huge egg.

Stay classy in Wichita! Looking forward to your next post. 8-)

Let posters pile on all they want. After yesterday we probably deserve it but I'm convinced our best days are in front of us. Now I could do without Altmans kid publicly ripping the team and school that was more than gracious when his old man wanted to return to Creighton, but whatever.

The sad part to me about McDermott not being able to redshirt this year, is that by the time Big McD's recruits get in here and are no longer freshmen, Little McD will only have a year of eligibility. Truly, this year is a throw-away. The seniors have mostly checked out. Although I believe Korver still cares and is working hard, he just does not possess D1 talent. Lawson clearly doesn't give a darn. Ashford and Runnels give little effort these days, and really were never D1 talent anyway. Like I have said before, our seniors would have made a nice DII team but that's about it.

Although Young is too inconsistent to be a go-to guy and Echinque is still trying to figure out MVC officiating (How was it not a charge when Bradley's player puts his head down and barrells into Echinique on the baseline drive? - but I digress), AY, Big E and Little McD make a solid basis for any team. The problem is the three of them can't all be on the floor for 40 minutes, and it is tough to win any game playing 3 on 5. Hopefully, Ethan Wragge gets his foot problems figured out (and learns to play defense) so he can be back on the court next year.

CU will probably end up the 5 or 6 seed in the MVC with an early exit in St. Louis. I see little risk in missing anything by scheduling my flight home for Saturday evening or Sunday morning.

I never reallly followed the Creighton faans reactions to the hiring of McDermott, but were you expecting the Bluejays to play ABOVE their talent level with him in charge?
