Weather conditions?

Light snow and 22 degrees. Not bad considering the conditions just 70 miles miles north of here.

You would think Evansville was located in the deep south the way people react to cold, snowy weather around here. It's always been that way. 1/2" of snow and the schools will be closed.

Big difference from Chicago. Their schools there were closed today for the first time in 12 years, but it took over 2 feet of snow to shut them down.
Wishing I was back home again.

I wish it were only a stamina problem, but it's not. MSU got to Evansville an entire day early. They haven't done anything for two full days. They played in front of under 4K fans. And it wasn't that they couldn't come back--it was that they played stupid, undisciplined basketball on both ends of the court for 37 of 40 minutes. They aren't tired. They were simply a terrible, below-average basketball team tonight.

Indiana State on Saturday is pretty much for the season now. If they lose that game at home, then you might as well finish fifth and get ready for the conference tournament.

Um, UNI already beat WSU and they have a game left with them. UNI CONTROLS THEIR DESTINY Friend.
+1

UNI wins out, and they are champs.
And if WSU wins out, they are the champs. :Yea!:

Don't worry we usually piss a couple off every year. I guess we are kind of use to it. :buddies:

Wish he sucked more when the Shox played MSU. Seems to hit big 3's against us. Although now that the bears are WEARING DOWN perhaps the next game will be different..... :D

Wait a minute - was MSU even in the Valley in '89?? I thought they joined in '91?

Having watched WSU go down in flames in 2007 because of a short bench - I've seen first hand what happens. this makes two games in a row where MSU didn't seem to have much ability to finish or come back late in a game. That's fatal.

MSU fans can deny it but the Bears are gassed. It's hard to keep up the intensity MSU had at the beginning of the season and it's hard to stay on top once you get there.

This loss had more to do with your starting SG playing 33 minutes, scoring zero points, and an inability to stop dribble penetration.

Nothing to do with depth. It's not like I'm holding onto that as some sort of badge of honor or something. Don't you think I'd much rather be able to blame fatigue than having to blame my coach and starting SG?

All the talk about UNI and WSU...let me remind both teams....they still have to come to Evansville. One, if not both could get beat.

Just back from the game. Best "team" win I've seen in a long time for the Aces. Everyone contributed something. The Aces bench is playing extremely well.

....just to comment of that intentional foul on the Bears......I have no clue either. Looked like a hard, clean foul. Resulted in 1 point so meant nothing but don't know why it was called.

Definition of controlling your own destiny is that if you win out, you win, therefore both UNI and WSU control their own destiny.

Very Very true. But, both teams remember last seasons upsets. I bet both come to Evansville ready to play.
