Saturday's Games

Opening lines given. Home team in CAPS.

Northern Iowa (-5.5) @ DRAKE

The Panthers are only 5-8 ATS as a favorite. They are 3-6 ATS on the road and 2-3 ATS in conference road games. Drake is 6-4 ATS at home and a nice 4-2 ATS in conference home games. They are also 3-0 ATS in their last 3 as an underdog. Looks like a good place to play the Bulldogs. PREDICTION: Drake 64-63.

MISSOURI STATE (-11.5) vs. Indiana State

The Sycamores are right around .500 ATS in this spot. 3-2 ATS conference road games, 6-6 ATS as underdogs, and 4-4 ATS as conference underdogs. The Bears have been on a downward ATS spiral. They are 0-5 ATS in their last 5. They have not covered a conference home game yet going 0-3-2 ATS in that spot. Play Indiana State to keep it close. PREDICTION: Missouri State 73-68.

SOUTHERN ILLINOIS (-4.5) vs. Bradley

The Salukis will be light a few after some suspensions, but Bradley doesn't give us much here. Southern is only
3-7-1 ATS at home this year, 2-4 ATS in conference home games. The Salukis are also only 2-5-1 ATS as favorites. The Braves are 2-3 in conference road games. Bradley has not fared well in conference games as a dog only going 3-7 ATS. No play. PREDICTION: Southern Illinois 66-62.

CREIGHTON (-5.5) vs. Evansville

Evansville has played well lately from a W-L perspective but they haven't been strong ATS this year. They are
2-3-1 ATS in conference road games and are 3-4-1 in conference games as an underdog. The Bluejays are 3-2 ATS in conference home games, but are on a nice run in the favorites role going 5-1 ATS in their last 6 as favorites. This is a good spot for them to continue that run. PREDICTION: Creighton 71-62.

WICHITA STATE (-18.5) vs. Illinois State

The Shockers are 11-3 ATS as favorites this year, 9-3 ATS in conference games all as favorites. The Redbirds have played better as of late and have been money winners in this spot going 4-2 ATS in conference road games. They are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 as an underdog. Hard to lay those points, but hard to play against the Shocks. Pass.
PREDICTION: Wichita State 78-61.

I'd take ISU to cover the spread against WSU. 18.5 is a lot and while the Shox can score points, 18.5 is too many. I'd say it will be a 12-14 point win.

Yeah 18.5 is definately too many points. I see this game being around a 10 point spread or less.

I wish teams would learn how to take charges from Alleghebe. You can see it coming every time. All he does is get 80% of his points from the free throw line. Most of the time he pushes off anyways.

The officials love calling fouls for Northern Iowa.

I hope some of you got a piece of the 3-0 day. Winners with Drake, Indiana State, and Creighton. Moves the record to 17-9 ATS this year.

Takes a lot of money to push a line 2 points much less 2.5 in Vegas.
