Good game as both teams went toe to toe and it was the Bears turn this time.
Ricks is very good, and important to us...But we don't win several games if not for Weems...

Not sure if the play itself was dirty but clearly the motion afterwards was distasteful no doubt, good game bears maybe we will get to play in the second round in St. Louis as a rubber match

Leonard came up BIG for the Bears today. He hit some dagger 3's.

Funny that you say that. They're saying exactly the opposite on Sycamore Pride.

Gee, that's a "shocker".

Not sure why "shocker" is in quotations...

Obviously, any win is a good win after two losses in a row, and it's especially good that Leonard had a game like that, because maybe he'll get the hot hand. But you gotta wonder about a team that looked so helpless on defense for so long against a team looking for a place to fall down and die. There's just something about InSU that has the Bears' number, and I sure hope I don't see them in a QF game in STL.

Bradley next.

Still trying to figure out why Caleb Patterson got a DNP...anyone hear?

Great game! Thought the Sycs played as well as any time i've seen them. Carter always plays big against us. Odom finally played well in a game that I saw (gonna hate him for 3 more years) though he made some bonehead plays down the stretch. Your post is a load and getting much better.

Leonard was nails today and the difference in the game. Liked seeing Rhine in place of Patterson (more physical and handled the double team great). Weems shot was a tad off today but Mallet, Lenard, and even Ricks stepped it up. Real good crowd with everyone "snow weary" and lots of noise too.

Braves next.......

Depends on what you call dirty. They showed a replay of the play at the game. Mallet goes up to dunk, while in the air the trailing defender grabbed him around the waist and spun him around in the air. There was ZERO play on the ball, intentional call was definately right. As far as dirty, if you spin someone in the air and make that gesture when the player is laying on the ground grabbing his leg, makes it seem like he accomplished what he was trying to do. If intent was to hurt, play was definately dirty.

At a minimum, it was classless.

This comment about Weems simply says that you have not watched him game in and game out. Weems is the most reliable player on the team and never seems to have a bad game. Weems is the best player in the league.

Weems isn't even close to be being the best player in the league. I'd say it's between Ahlegbe of UNI and McDermott of Creighton.

Weems isn't dirty. He is learning to be more physical after 2 years of being pushed around.
Anyone saying Weems isn't the MVP of the Bears has an ax to grind. All 5 starters add integral parts to the team. Leonards shooting, Mallets shooting and slashing, Creeks physicality and toughness, and Ricks' ball handling and going to the hole. IF you thought someone else was team MVP, it wouldn't be Ricks.
