The March to the Arch Podcast

Postby MarchArchPod » August 29th, 2019, 1:08 pm

Valley Fans,

We have started a brand new podcast, talking all things Missouri Valley!

https://anchor.fm/marchtothearch/episodes/Tipoff-to-the-March-to-the-Arch-Podcast-e54ird

*Also on Spotify, and soon will be on Apple Podcasts.

The podcast is a causal conversation, by two fans of the MVC, talking all things Valley. Both of us love the MVC and just want to bring our conversations to a platform for everyone to enjoy, because at the end of the day, if you are posting on this board, you love your school and love the MVC.

Our first episode takes a quick look at last season, as well as looking at the coaches in the conference. Our next podcast will begin our in-depth look at the individual teams in the league, and have a few takes along the way. First up will be Evansville and Valpo. We hope you give us a chance and enjoy the show.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated, as I know this forum is very active with passionate fans of the league. Thanks!

A lot of ISU and SIU talk on there, but was interesting to listen to other opinions.

What most people forget about Bradley's loss to Michigan State was that Michigan State started the game out with 20 straight made free throws and finished the game 25-26 from the line. If not for nearly perfect free throw shooting, they very much could have gone down in the first round.

Haha, yeah, no doubt on the ISU/SIU lean, but we will be giving the other 8 more love over the next couple weeks, starting with the Cursaders and Aces. Thanks for listening!

Yeah I caught that. The fan base in Evansville is jacked about the team's potential and the uptick in talent Coach McCarty has brought in. This year's schedule is also a nice improvement over those of the recent past.

Your podcasts are great. Looking forward to listening to them during the season coming up. Was a little surprised at your having the Aces as a possible top 4 team this year, since most of the fools on this forum are thinking that they are still a play in team. Well, let them be the most surprised people on earth when that doesn't happen. After nearly 20 years of abject disappointment, we Aces fans are ready for at least a top half finish to this season, and I believe they will achieve that. Remember the names of DeAndre
Williams, Sam Cunliff, and KJ Riley as they are going to make sure that the Aces are not a play in team this year. At this time, I'm not ready to declare the Aces a top 4 team, but I would bet a small amount of money that they will not be a Thursday team either. :D
