More likely is that those shots will be taken by someone who shoots 3s well. It seems like you would have to compare his field goal percentage with the number of shots taken, and the field goal percentage of whoever takes those shots instead. It is also possible that those shots won't be taken at all and instead will be taken from another position altogether. I don't think there is any way to conclude Drake loses 5ppg. Maybe they lose, maybe they gain.
