Honestly, I am torn on what I think should be done. On one hand, I am a big gun-rights guy. So I kinda file this under accident. But - time and place - why would he have a gun his dorm room? (or am I misinformed - I have to say that the descriptions I have read have been unclear). That in itself seems unwise and possibly against school rules (again, I don't have information).

I hope for his sake, he gets his education. And for the Valley, I hope he plays. But I don't think a school that has a rule and an enforcement policy should look the other way for a Student Athlete.
