Ramblers play UIndy tonight, which happens to be Tate Hall's former school. UIndy is a solid team and beat Valpo in exhibition play last year. I suspect a close game as the Ramblers are without Clemons and Big Frank. A lot of newcomers will be getting big minutes (freshmen Marquise Kennedy and Paxon Wojcik filling in for Clemons and freshman Tom Welch getting some time down low for Frank; as well as JUCO transfer Jalon Pipkins at guard and UIndy transfer Tate Hall at forward).

If the 6th place pick beating in OT, the defending GLVC Champion and D2 Final Four participant, who is amped up to beat their cross-town program is overhyping....what is the correct term for the 3rd place pick getting beat at home to a mid-pack GLVC program?

For the record, I am not putting much into exhibition games, but this was some serious low hanging fruit.

There are still some fools on this forum who like to stick it to the Aces whenever they can. I get it. You have to earn respect, and the Aces have done precious little in the last 20 years to do that. I light of what has happened so far in exhibition games, the Aces can't be dissed. They WON their game.

People need to need to take off the MVC glasses. This conference continues to get worse every year and I doubt things improve this year either. These exhibition games are supposed to be blowouts, not competitive games. And some keep talking about this being a 2 or 3 bid league. We're lucky we get 1 bid.

Louisville beat GLVC Bellarmine by 10.
Xavier beat GLVC Indy by 12
Toledo lost to GLVC Findlay
Bowling Green slipped by GLVC Findlay in OT.

I guess the ACC, Big East and MAC are getting worse as well?

Relax. I can't believe how many of you are flipping out, and predicting doom and gloom over these exhibition games...and conversely, I saw a Bradley fan on twitter actually predicting they would run the table in the MVC based upon their blowout over Milliken. OK, well our Lady Aces blew out NAIA Oakland City 102-41 the other night. I am looking forward to our title game match with UConn in March.

LOL! I am looking forward for the Ladies to be somewhat competitive in the Valley this year. Abby Feit, a freshman from Normal, Ill has All Conference potential. :Yea!:

Great, then you can go back to talking about your D2 football and OVC basketball. You know, the stuff that matters.
