Interesting take on the remainder....
As unbelievable as MSU's 5-0 start to the season with road wins at UNI, CU and WSU, and home against UE, WSU finishing 5-0 would be even more amazing. With the parity that has always existed in the MVC, do you really see WSU going 5-0 against four of the other top 6 teams, with three of those games on the road? It's not like WSU is Duke, playing head and shoulders above the league.

If WSU pulls that off, hats off, they definately would deserve the league title.

I agree that MSU needs to stay within a game of WSU going into the final game, with a winner take all grudge match....can't get any better than that.

SIU wasn't much of a threat with Teague. Without him, they shouldn't be an issue.
UE has played better than expected, but after the lopsided win earlier I'm not too worried. We're also playing better now than earlier in the year.
UNI was a little worrisome before the O'Rear injury. WSU has too much inside for UNI without him.
CU is down but could be tough. However, we handled them pretty well in Omaha and we're playing better now. Can't really say the same for them.
MSU is good. But the question still is, are they wearing down. Late in the season that could definitely be a factor. WSU, as of now, is playing better ball than MSU. With that said, this is the only game that worries me at all. I'm glad I'll be there to see us finish 5-0 down the stretch!!! :duel:

If you looked at the thread regarding margin of victory, WSU is winning by an avg of 13 ppg. I think MSU is second with around 3 or 4. So while WSU is no Duke, they are consistently wiping the floor with the teams they face. They also are 6-0 on the road and have played their best on the road so far. So it's not too much of a stretch of the imagination.

I think his hidden agenda is to get saps to click on the link he provided so that he can get additional money into his pocket.

Personally, I don't put a lot of stock into the predictions of some random Bradley blogger.

You got it, bro -- the $12 per month really supplements my income as a financial advisor.

I appreciate the feedback -- you don't have to put a lot of stock into it. I don't post every article I write here... the site is something to keep my brain sharp and start discussions...

As far as my agenda, I have none. I've watched a lot of Valley basketball, and those are my picks. I'd love to start a contest on this board to see who can get closest to the final standings. Maybe after this round of games, MVCfans can set it up...

The beauty of predictions is that the predictor sticks his head out there.

Consider my head mostly chopped off at this point.

I really think at least 6 fan bases think they could win out from here on out.

Well....the Aces are 1-0 after this prediction. We now know that WSU, Creighton, and UNI won't win out. I think the Aces will probably split their final 4 games and end the 5 game stretch at 3-2, but I would be very happy if they finish the final 5 games at 4-1.
