Good game by the Aces, made their shots and built enough of a cushion that when UNI put something together in desperation time, they had too high of a hill to climb. That said, I'll take the rematch in St. Louis if it comes with no hesitation. UNI shot horribly and played lackluster on D for most of the game. Give them a couple more weeks to figure out communication with the players that in at different spots now and they'll be a handful.

Time to get back home and get some practice time in where Jake can tinker a little more. Glad we have a couple of days to prepare for the unstoppable force coming our way in the McLeod.

Two tough losses for UNI in a row. Offense has been good, but the defense giving up 70+ points is not something this team can do and still expect to come out with a W.

Given this is almost officially a one bid league now, a regular season title is for nothing more than pride. UNI still has time to figure things out before the only weekend that matters--March 4-7.

Kudos to all UNI fans for being congratulatory toward UE. I have always appreciated the way UNI plays. They always have reminded me of when UE had a nice run. Teams never understood how they could lose to them because the other team was usually more athletic. But defense and team ball goes a long way.
