Probably not a conference with a better collection of retired logos in the country.

I don't think it will be viewed as poorly once time passes. Most people are just afraid of change.

Couldn't agree more.

Do I love it, no. But all will be fine in time.

Is it good? No. That said the only part I have issue with is the state. WTF is that?

I don't mind this. I wouldn't have done this exact thing if I had been the graphic designer hired to do the work, but it's OK.

There are lots of graphics which treat the outline of Indiana geometrically like this. The old Hoosier Lotto logo comes to mind, or former governor Pence's "A State that Works" logo. I feel like some candidate for US Senate in the last few years did it too on their campaign signs.

You have my full permission to make fun of ISU. I'm not sure they could have done a worse job if they tried. I will not be buying any apparel with the new logo on it. Maybe in 5 years or so it will grow on me, but I am not counting on it. And just because everyone else is drawing Indiana wrong, doesn't mean you should do it too. Just like how you shouldn't jump off of a cliff just because your friends are doing it.

I don't get it. I really liked the script and that style has made a huge comeback. This just looks like Iowa States logo plus a weird state outline.

It's too bad cause that blue looks so good and they could've gone with a much more creative and fresh idea
