When Childs returned I mentally moved them just ahead of Loyola and not far behind UNI. Bradley and Wardle deserve to advance and should be great representatives for the Valley!

Valpo just blew Thursday night thinking out of the water. A deep team which peaks late can still be in contention! I wanted to go through Loyola because that looked like the best chance for a championship run. I got what I wanted. What I didn't expect was that Freeman would play sick and Robinson ( a regular starter who plays 4 positions) would not suit up for any of the last 7 games. VU went to an 8 man rotation instead of their usual 9. Maybe that wouldn't have been enough but I would have liked to have seen it.

Go Bradley-- I am a believer.

Congrats Bradley! I'm glad we don't have to face Brown anymore; he has always had POY potential, and he was by far the best player in St. Louis this year.

For the Valpo fans here - I saw JFL state that he was returning next year, but if VU lost on Thursday do you think that would have still been the case? This run may have solidified Valpo in the top half of the Valley for the next two years if he stays.

I agree. Valparaiso is going to be good next year. I've got them finishing second behind UE.

Congrats to Bradley and Valpo. Valpo definitely has nothing to hang their heads about. Darrell Brown deserved those MVP chants. He has been a stud all year.

Good luck to Bradley and UNI in their postseason tournaments. Hopefully a couple more teams can make the CBI/CIT tournaments.

Really fun game today as a Bradley fan. Valpo gave Bradley all they wanted for 30 minutes today. JFL is a stud. Great move by Wardle switching up to the zone defense down the stretch. And much like Drake yesterday at the same point, it looked like Valpo just ran out of gas the last 10 minutes of the game.

What a fun weekend in St Louis.

DB's stats on the weekend:
Over 21 Points per game
7 assists per game
Shot nearly 48% from the field
50% from 3
over 86% from the line

He had himself a weekend.

Hope he keeps that chip on his shoulders and keeps it rolling in the NCAA Tournament. The MVC needs him to perform well! Go Bradley!

Still on cloud 9, DBJ is one of the greats. He deserves all the praise. Thanks and congrats to Valpo and Drake for the magic they brought this weekend. I think UNI should get in, im callin they play in a first 4 game and the MVC puts 2 in the sweet 16. If they dont get in they deserve nothing but home games on the way to MSG in the NIT. Not a bad weekend for a few 2nd teamers and a coach who couldn't get a glimpse for coach of the year. Please send us back to St Louis. Go BU, Go MVC.

That would be amazing! Sending Bradley to play in St Louis would be a dream setup! I think it's interesting they're trying to reprise the Michigan State matchup (according to Lunardi). I have to wonder if maybe that one would go a little better this time if Bradley got to try again!
