Bowen Born dropped 49 and outplayed Iowa State commit Xavier Foster in his team's win last night.

Currently averaging 38.1 PPG and on pace to set the Iowa all time single season scoring record. Shooting 56% from the floor, 41% from three and 92% from the line.

Born was named Iowa's Mr Basketball after leading Norwalk to a 3A (Iowa's second largest class) State Title last week.

Third highest single season scorer in Iowa history with 983 points (37.6 per game) and finished 6th all time in career scoring.

Fourth Iowa Mr Basketball to come to UNI in the Mac/Jake era with Brooks McKowen, Wyatt Lohaus and Spencer Haldeman (the best player in the state played baseball in college so he kind of won it by default in a really weak class )
