I think Porter likes being able to bring instant offense off the bench and in my opinion he could very well be our second best player next year. He's a stud.
As for the PG conversation i'm really curious who starts as well; as mentioned Norris was a stud as a starting freshman pg at Oakland; meanwhile Clemon's is a proven winner who won a JUCO championship and played his best ball in the biggest moments, he was a monster at home against UNI and was about the only player who brought intensity to Arch Madness. I could see Clemons sliding over to the 2, and Norris running point at times. I think all fans agree the only player we're okay moving to the bench would be Uguak.
Right now I've got the Ramblers as my preseason favorite because of their veteran lineup and quality depth with guys like Norris , Kaifes, Kennedy in the backcourt and decent size behind Krutwig and along the front line with Welch/Agunane/Hutson. The one area I see them lacking is in the 6'5-6'7 athletic wings who can score. Williamson and Uguak can defend but neither has been a consistent scoring threat; Williamson still might come a round offensively and Hall can shoot, but it's the one area I wouldn't say was a strength overall.
PS: Right after writing that, Loyola gets Damezi Anderson a 6'6 transfer from Indiana ; however, will probably be a sit 1 play 2 , but exactly the type of player I said they didn't have.
