That would certainly be an option and a liability clause is typically presented at some point during the ticket buying process. For example, the Cubs had a game (a few years ago? time runs together now) where a fan was struck with a bat and if memory serves, had to go to the hospital. The family couldn't sue the Cubs or MLB for the injuries because fans assume liability the second they walk-in to the stadium.
They could do the same thing here, but understand there is a difference between a bat flying into the stands and potentially deadly virus.
