Maroon beer and White wine has a great ring to it! Wow, so very impressed with Coach Mullins and staff! Our university needs a pick me up...basketball can do that for us!

Salukis picked up grad transfer 6'7" Ben Coupet, most recently of Little Rock. Played at traditional high school powerhouse Chicago Simeon, then on to UNLV before ending up at LR. Our program had targeted the athletic wing position primarily after last season and it appears that he could fill that bill.

Coupet brings some needed length and athleticism to the wing and seems like what the doctor ordered to round out a deep Saluki lineup.
So Southern’s four newcomers are three freshmen (Ebube, D’Amico, Wonders) and Coupet, a grad transfer. And JD Muila, the JUCO big, is basically a newcomer after missing last year with an injury. The Salukis are now out of scholarships unless anyone else leaves.

His dad played for Bradley back in the mid-90's so the family should be familiar with the Valley.

Color me extremely disappointed that Mullins and Co. have failed to land anyone for '22. I am far from patient so this is really bothering me.

Four Valley teams have 2022 commitments. I think it is getting harder and harder for mid-majors to get early commits because everybody thinks the most important thing is to get into a power 5 conference and they don't want to commit to early for fear of ruining their NBA career.
