I still think Northern Iowa is the 2nd best team in the league without Green.

Yes, I'm surprised how well Bradley plays after the loss of Brown and Kinnell (nice showing vs. Xavier), but the loss to Toledo was bad and last year's team would have beaten this South Dakota State team at home.

Yes, I was intrigued by Drake's win over K-State, but then I saw K-State lose to Fort Hays State and eke out a one-point win at home over UW-Milwaukee.

I watched SIU play OK against a pretty good Murray State team. Good win for them and the league. Nice that they were able to schedule Butler (who I think Loyola would demolish, even in Indy)-- hope they win.

The MVC is a one bid league once again, and anybody can win it. Loyola, a senior laden team, had their opportunity against two top 25 programs this week and did not show well. SIU is 6-0 going to Butler Monday playing with primarily freshmen and sophomores. I'm looking for continued improvement, and a competitive game from start to finish.

A Toledo team that is now a top 100 RPI team and arguably the Valleys best win at this point.

Bradley has also played cupcakes all Season with the exception of sdsu, Xavier and Toledo. Which they are 1-2 against. They barely escaped a pretty bad Miami team. At this point Loyola is the favorite until proven otherwise. Bradley’s only good d1 win is Toledo. Not sure why wardle decided to schedual so many cupcakes but I don’t think Loyola losing to ranked teams has changed the projection of the valley . It’s Loyola’s to lose until proven otherwise.

First off, to knock a team’s scheduling in the year 2020 is laughable. There are a lot of external forces at play, so cut some slack. Second, you can’t say Bradley has scheduled cupcakes all season then go on to list 3 solid teams. They also have the best non conference win in the Valley. They also are playing 9 non-conference games which is way more than a lot of schools. They also play Missouri next week.

Compare that to Loyola, who has played 5 games, 2 against good schools, and lost both.

I agree actually that Loyola is probably the better team at this point based on Bradley’s performance against Miami and having watched Loyola’s last two games. I do think Bradley will be right there as Wardle teams have a tendency to figure things out by February.
